Fall into Fashion with Lily Rain

Last Wednesday I hosted my very first party with one of my favorite stores, Lily Rain! This was such an incredible experience for myself because I felt like I had started to come into my own as a blogger.  The night was an absolute blast full of champagne, brownies, and best of all, makeup tutorials by Benefit Cosmetics! Hosting this event was a great way for other bloggers and fashion lovers to get a more personal experience with the store's owners/management and truly experience their brand. Lily Rain I absolutely loved these little copper giraffes! Lily Rain Lily Rain One of my favorite parts of the evening was the makeup tutorials provided by the excellent makeup artists from Benefit Cosmetics. The two lovely ladies were incredibly helpful and taught many of us (including myself!) a couple of new beauty tricks that I can't wait to try! Benefit Cosmetics is one of my favorite makeup companies so I was extremely excited to work alongside them for an evening. Lily Rain The lovely ladies of Benefit Cosmetics! Hosting this event was a great way to see many bloggers that I typically don't see, unless we all attend our Charleston Blog Society events. As my work schedule gets crazier, it's harder to find the time to see everyone. Having little events like this makes me so happy because it's like one big girls night with wine, shopping, and makeup. A perfect girl's night right? What's even better was all guests received 20% off their entire purchases for the evening.

So I did what I do best.

I shopped too much!

It was so hard to not buy everything in the store! I had to make sure to set aside a few items because I didn't want to run the risk of running out of my size! I went home with a gorgeous silk, royal blue Coverii dress and a stunning nude origami jumpsuit by Glamorous. I couldn't leave without getting something for P, so I bought him some amazing American flag socks.  I can't wait to shoot the pieces that I got, they're perfect for fall. I can't wait to wear my new Coverii dress with a leather jacket and black booties. Lily Rain A great shot of us that night. We just couldn't keep from laughing! Lily Rain

A BIG thank you to everyone who came out and supported us last week. We had a great time and I hope to do something like this again with Lily Rain. Hosting these store parties are a great way to sip, shop and laugh alongside your girlfriends. I hope host another event at a store very soon!
