Floral and Bright Maxi
Now that we are finally done with traveling for a month, I'm so excited to sit down and finally share our recent trip to Los Angeles last month to celebrate the wedding of two of our very dear friends! I just couldn't wait any longer to share this stunning dress that I wore to their wedding. You may have already seen it on InstaStories and my Instagram. This dress is officially my new favorite wedding guest outfit! Los Angeles isn't that hot compared to Charleston (which is truly amazing) but it can get warm, especially when you're dancing the night away at a wedding!
I've talked recently how I'm finally a convert for maxi dresses and this one is the dress that made me fall in love with maxi dresses! I love how it's cut closer to the body and flows down so that it creates more of a silhouette rather than a column of fabric. I was a little worried that it would be too long, but it fit perfectly once I put on my heels for the wedding. I couldn't have loved this look more!
I got numerous compliments on the dress all night long and for good reason! It's absolutely stunning on! One of my best friends loved it so much that she immediately bought one for herself. And y'all, it's such a steal! You can currently get this gorgeous dress for only $23 and Make Me Chic is having a sale where you can get 20% off your first order with them. So in reality, you can get this dress for only $18 right now. That's such a steal! Since we've had so many weddings this year, I'm always on the look out for affordable, cute dresses to wear.
Just look at how stunning this dress is!! I cannot wait to wear it to other weddings this year. We've got 3 more weddings to go and plenty of traveling left to do before the year is over. I'll be heading off to both Austin, TX and Philadelphia/New Jersey in September so expect to see more fun things on Instagram and the blog!
Trust me, you're going to want to scoop this dress up for your summer events. You'll get so many compliments! I can't wait to share the rest of the details of our trip to Los Angeles including where to stay/eat/drink/play!
What's your go-to for wedding guest attire? I'd love to hear it in the comments below!
