Must Haves for a Spooky Cocktail Party

We hope you love the products we recommend! Just so you know, this article is sponsored by Cost Plus World Market.

Fall is right around the corner which means we're getting closer to one of the best holidays of the year, Halloween! Nothing gets me more excited than throwing a big Halloween party complete with Halloween decorations with my friends each year. Now that we are settling into the new house, all I want to do is throw parties and celebrate with my loved ones!

I've rounded up some of my favorite decor and food items to help you throw the best spooky cocktail party, no ghosts required! So throw on your favorite Halloween costume and throw the best spooky cocktail party your friends have ever seen!

Spook-a-liches Decor

Just because it's a Halloween party doesn't mean that you can't have a glam party! One of the hottest colors this year and into fall is gold. Bring the warmth of gold into your home and pair it with black and white for a glamorous take on a Halloween party. I absolutely love the gold embossed wine glasses, I use them every chance that I get in our house!

No cocktail party is complete without a beautiful bar cart to entertain your guests at! Simply style it with a few Halloween decor favorites like a black cauldron for candy, or a cool skeleton gold and black bowl for treats, and you can't forget about some spooky shot glasses! Simply stagger your items on the top and bottom of the bar cart. I like to have items that people will use the most on the top shelf; like glasses, the decanter for beverages, and drink accessories, and I like to have smaller items like the candy on the bottom. You can also place the candy and food trays throughout your home to encourage mingling! If your friends are anything like ours, the girls always end up the kitchen and the boys either outside by the fire pit or in the living room! I swear, it's like we're back in 8th grade all over again!

Haunted Treats

You can't have a spooky cocktail party without some haunted treats! Everyone will love these fun Halloween inspired treats at your cocktail party. Just make sure to save one for me, ok?

You can also bake a lot of treats with the best fall ingredient, pumpkin! Pumpkin flavored food is probably my favorite thing about fall! Now is the time to embrace everything pumpkin, especially for a party! I love all these fun snacks, especially the caramel apples and eye ball ice cubes for drinks! Now that will give someone a scare!

Boo-zy Drinks

No party is complete without some boo-zy drinks! Thankfully Cost Plus World Market has everything you need all under one roof! Of course dark beers are in and lighter beers are out this fall. Which means we're about to experience an influx of delicious pumpkin flavored beers! Don't miss out on the Anderson Valley beer, they're on of my favorite breweries and they make some killer beer!

Plus, the cooler weather means that we can drink darker wines again too! Take your red wine up a notch by drinking some that have some seriously spooky labels and names! One of my personal favorite wines is 19 Crimes and it comes with a cool story on the label!
