A Glamorous Time at The Spectator Hotel

Earlier this month we were treated with a wonderful time at the gorgeous Spectator Hotel in downtown Charleston! This sumptuous, 1920's inspired hotel, makes you feel as if you've stepped back in time, or even a different city! Unlike any hotel I've experienced in Charleston, everything is richly decorated in dark fabrics, colors, and balanced with lighter decor accents.

So in short, it's essentially my dream hotel!

The king suite bedroom was everything I could have ever dreamed of! The large king bed and the expansive window allowed so much light into the room. Even with the heavier fabrics, the room felt open and airy. It was a perfect combination of colors and style. I've been obsessed with navy and darker fabrics this year and I immediately wanted to return home and redecorate our entire bedroom!

Which side note, we are actually in the middle of doing just that!

The bed was so incredibly comfortable that you immediately sank down amidst the down pillows and duvet. It was like you were being caccooned inside the bed, which is never a bad thing.

My every bathroom dream became a reality in their sweeping bathroom suite. Complete with a large glass standing shower, complimentary toiletries, and plenty of soft towels, this is everything you'd ever want in a luxury bathroom. It made getting ready for the evening a breeze!

The Spectator Hotel was an absolute dream to visit! As soon as we stepped through the great door, we were greeted by their wonderful and attentive staff, and even offered a welcome cocktail! If you're planning on visiting Charleston this year, I highly recommend staying at the Spectator Hotel! Located in the middle of the City Market, you're steps away from the historical marketplace, and a short walk away from some of the city's top restaurants, bars, and attractions. Make sure you take a walk around the market to pick up small gifts and stop at one of the many rooftop bars for a sunset cocktail!
