What I'm Wearing: Holidays

But I really do love being a social butterfly. I do take time during the holiday season for some time for myself to recharge and rest, but going out and seeing everyone is just so much fun! I can't be the only person who feels the same. So it comes as no surprise that this time of year requires lots of fun, festive outfits!

I love this outfit because it's that perfect little white dress to wear to all the holiday parties and gatherings. Just because it's fall/winter doesn't mean that you can't wear white! The lovely blue pattern makes it feel more classic and festive than a simple red and green ensemble.

A friend recently pointed out the pattern reminds them of the classic Charleston ginger jars and it does!

With the holidays and dressing up comes one other crucial and fun part: hair and makeup! I don't typically wear a lot of makeup and usually wear my hair straight but this time of year I relish taking that extra time to curl my hair and wear more makeup, preferably if it's red and has glitter in it! Complete your picture perfect holiday look by styling your hair with loose waves, similar to those from the 1940s. Finish it off with a bold red lip, black eyeliner, and some subtle highlighting, and you'll be the star of the show!
