What I'm Wearing: Cut Outs

cut outsIf there's one thing I love, it's cut outs. I've featured them on the blog before with my cut out jumpsuit from Perch Boutique and various backless dresses. There's just something to simple and stunning about cut outs. Which is why I've been obsessed with wearing them lately. Combine that with my new love of flowy tunics (hello life savers!) it's truly, a match made in heaven.

35800With fall just around the corner, and my ability to wear pants again (!), this olive green tunic paired with my black jeans is such a great outfit to usher in those cooler nights. I wore this tunic originally for our debut party for Charleston's newest alternative magazine, Dollhouse, and it's been a repeat offender ever since! I love the feeling of it when it wind blows and it whips around my legs.

What really makes this outfit though is the incredible jewelry by my favorite Charleston based designer, Theodosia Jewelry. She does an incredible job at creating these one of a kind pieces that are so unique and special. I was lucky enough to meet the designer, Jenny, behind the creations and see what they've got cooking for their newest collection. And I've got to say, it's going to be their best one yet!

I'm in love with all the little details in these pieces today! That's right, I said pieces. Each of these necklaces are actually multiple layers to make one giant piece and that's exactly how Jenny intended the necklaces to be worn. Even by themselves, each piece is incredible beautiful and really makes an outfit pop! Especially that horn necklace, it really pulls the entire outfit together and give it that extra boho feel to it.

This bracelet is probably my favorite one I've ever worn. It combines everything I love in a piece of jewelry: simple, classic, and a little bit minimalist. It can go with any kind of outfit not just a boho one! I'd love to wear it with an all black outfit and pair it with some simple blush painted nails and red lips. What do you think?

I've got to say a little apology to my readers! I've been swamped these past couple of weeks and have been putting the blog on the back burner. But all that is changing and soon! I've finally got things some what scheduled (I'm even going to the gym in the morning!) so I can start refocusing my efforts back into the blog. I've got lots of exciting new things coming up including TWO giveaways! So stay tuned and I promise all your patience will be rewarded!
