What I'm Wearing: NFL Game Day

Good morning and happy Thursday everyone! Today's a big day because the Redskins are playing the Giants tonight and it's an understatement to say we're pumped in the P & K household! P is a bigger fan than I am (seriously, he has way too much) but I do love supporting him. And how do we support football on Paper Meets Pearl? With fashion obviously!game dayYou may have seen this romper before from our big college game day shoot with Entourage Clothing and some seriously cool blogger babes. After the shoot, Venita and I swapped our burgundy clothes because we loved them so much. So she walked away with my burgundy dress and I got her romper. Honestly it was a win-win for us both as I didn't feel entirely too comfortable in the short dress and she didn't like the shape of the romper.

She's crazy of course because she looked amazing. game dayWearing: Romper (Entourage Clothing); Sandals (Steve Madden); Earrings (Art Mecca of Charleston)

Now every day that the Redskins have a game, I've thrown on the romper and it's perfect because I'm not one to wear a jersey. I do have one but prefer to go out in a regular outfit if we go to a bar to watch the game.

But let's be real, this isn't a huge game day post. It's really all about my partnership with Art Mecca of Charleston and a giveaway! We've partnered together to give one of my lucky readers a gorgeous handcrafted pair of metal earrings! Don't let the metal fool you, these earrings are extremely light, delicate, and the perfect color combination to make any fall outfit pop!game dayI love the combination of yellow and blue, it looks fantastic with an all black outfit so your attention goes directly to the earrings or even pair it with an all over printed outfit! The designer, Mackenzie King, is an absolutely delightful person. She currently has her workshop in the back of Art Mecca wear she heats up individual metal pieces, colors them, and hammers them out all by herself.

Now that's amazing.

I had never been inside Art Mecca before but had walked past it numerous times on King Street. Inside you'll find local Charleston artists featuring various collections or pieces. One of my favorites (and I follow her on Instagram!) is Elizabeth B. Ceramics. Elizabeth creates gorgeous pottery that I've never seen before. Delicate bowls with small holes detailing them, beautiful muted colors, and colorful plates that would look gorgeous in anybody's kitchen.game day game daySo here's how you can enter to win these beauties:

First you must follow both myself (@papermeetspearl) and Art Mecca of Charleston (@artmeccaofcharleston) on Instagram. Like my photo of the earrings and comment three other people you think would want to enter. That's it! We'll announce the winner on Monday, September 28, 2015.

Best of luck to everyone that enters the competition!
