What I'm Wearing: Versus Apparel
I'm very excited to announce my latest collaboration with Charleston based brand, Versus Apparel! I was first introduced to the brand through my good friend, Jeanne Everett, and immediately fell in love with their more edgy and urban styles pieces. Check out my two favorite looks from their upcoming fall collection!
I love fierce I look in this shot! Its very Beyonce isn't?
Versus Apparel was found by David Sealy in 2014. Versus was founded upon the idea of Bible verse, Ephesians 6:10-18, and David Seay took the armor of God mentioned in the verse and translated the shield into the design and clothing. This is why you'll see the shield on all their pieces!
All fabrics, design, and production process are all produced here in the U.S. especially with a focus on Charleston and Savannah. I love the dedication behind Versus and the quality behind all their pieces, especially how driven they are to keep things locally sourced and made.
Now I love a good legging and these are it! These leggings are incredibly soft, comfortable, and make any outfit really pop! I loved pairing it with my American Apparel mesh body suit. This is a perfect going out look with your girlfriends or grabbing some after work drinks. Just throw on a blazer or long trench and you can easily transform this look into something more polished and conservative.
This is by far my favorite look from the collection. It originally pairs with fleece skirt underneath however I loved pairing it with the mesh body suit. It creates a more dramatic flair that's both fierce and fashionable all in one! Plus it makes me feel extra strong. One of the main motto's behind Versus Apparel is their Stand Firm campaign which is why you'll see it all over their various social media campaigns.
I'm looking forward to all the new fall designs and exciting plans they have in store! Make sure you keep tabs on Versus Apparel, they're going to be a big deal here in Charleston soon!
