Those hot summer nights, goodness do I love them! But what I don't love is the how hot and sweaty I get from standing outside for two minutes! Y'all, the summer struggle is so real here! Thankfully I've got a multitude of ways to combat the heat in Charleston. I feel like my skin and body have physically changed in the past three years to live in this hot and humid enivornment!
Let me go ahead and apologize for being totally MIA lately! I know I haven't posted in, well, forever, but for good reason! I've been traveling to Los Angeles and I've also started a new job! What!! I'm now the Director of Marketing and Strategy with a luxury real estate company and I'm over the moon about my new position! So, again, I apologize for the severe lack of communication and outfits on my end. Which, if you follow me on Instagram, you'll be able to catch some of my favorite shots around and about LA. Remember how I was talking about some nasty weather here in Charleston a week or so ago? Yeah, it’s all gone now. Welcome to winter in the south! Where it’s hot 340 days of the year and the rest are just somewhat cold! to be fair, some of our state got hit with snow and it did drop below freezing which hurt a lot of our crops down here.

I know it must sound a little cliche, but St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. Maybe it’s the compulsion to wear nothing but green, which I look fabulous in, or the desire to be merry with the thousands of other people in my city celebrating

One thing that I’ve loved and been very thankful for since moving to Charleston is getting to know so many of the wonderful creatives based in Charleston. Over the past two years I’ve been able to work and collaborate with some of the best fashion based small businesses in the city, and have even seen them become dear friends. Whenever we work together to create gorgeous shoots, I’m always eager to jump on board!
